Instructions For Using Stationery and Answers To Problems You May Be Having.

Below are instructions for using my stationery and solutions to solving problems you may be having.

After you have installed your stationery, open up Outlook Express and click on MESSAGE.

Now, select New Message Using, and then Select Stationery :

Ok, now a box will pop up with your stationery, click on the one you want to use, and then click OK.

Now you are ready to start writing your letter.  You may not be able to see the scrolling, animation, or special effects, when you are composing your letter. Also, on some stationery you will only see parts, but when you preview and/or send it, it will look great!

"Solutions For Problems You May Be Having"

By default Microsoft has the security settings set too high in Outlook Express for you to use any stationery that contains Java Scripts or Visual Basic Scripts. This is the cause of most of the problems that people have....So Please Read On.

If you are using Outlook Express 6 and having problems with your stationery not working right, make sure you change your security settings by clicking on : "Tools", then "Options", then click the Security Tab, change to internet zone and NOT Restricted Zone.

If you are seeing red X's instead of graphics, make sure you are sending your mail in html format, and also make sure the box checked to send pictures.

Click on "Tools", then "Options", then click the "Send Tab" Look for the section that looks like the graphic below. Where it says "Mail Sending Format" make sure there is a dot where it says HTML

Next Click on the button that says "HTML SETTINGS"

You should now see a window like the one below. Make sure the "Send Pictures With Messages Box" is checked.

Now everything should work just fine.

That is all there is to it! You will get the hang of it quick!

Hope you enjoy my stationery!
